Taste original boat noodle in "Pathum Thani"
Pathum Thani, so-called Muang Sam Khok or the province on three hills, was once the residence of the Mon people. But its real attractions are boat noodle and spicy shrimp dishes. After tasting the dishes, don't forget to visit the temple here.
Cherish the culture
Wat Phai Lom dates back to the Sukhothai era and is a haunt of migrating birds. Take Highway 306 and then Highway 346.
Wat Phuet Udim, houses a miniature statue of Luang Pho Sothon and a sala featuring sculptures portraying hell and heaven. Historical objects are on display in the museum. Take Pathum Thani-Lamlukka Road.
Wat Bua Khwan, in home to a Buddha image in a self-torturing position and is an entirely teak structure constructed for the King when he viewed the …rak na kwan …ceremony. Take Highway 346.
Wat Sing, on Pathum Thani-Sam Khok Road, is believed to have been built when the Mon people first settled here. Its histrorical objects are worth viewing.
Treasure the natural beauty
Wat Lam Mahamek, 14 km from Muang district on Pathum Thani-Bang Lane Road, is recommended for its natural attractions such as numerous birds living in a natural habitat near the temple's pond.
Wat Mun Chindaram on Pathum Thani-Nakhon Nayok Road, is interesting because the large fish in Khlong Rangsit Prayunsak each weigh 3-5 kilogramme.
