Wat
Phra Pathom Chedi Ratchawoawihan,
is a major historical site dating back a thousand years.
This temple in Muang district has the country's largest
and tallest stupa.inside the stupa is a Buddha relic.
Sanam Chan Palace, 2 km from
Wat Phra Pathom chedi, was built by King Rama VI. This
palace covers several buildings such as Phimanpathom,
Aphiromruedi, Watchariomya and Samakhimukkhamat.
Tai wax museum, portrays
fiber-glass figures, a creation of Thai artists. The museum
is on Pinklao-nakhon Chaisi Road.
Buddhamonthon, is a major
holy place, built with government funds and public contribution
to mark the 2,500th year of the walking Buddha. To reach
here,Take Buddhamonthon Road 4.
Wat Rai Khing, has a Buddha
image in the Manwichai position, and is considered a holy
place for Buddhists. Take Highway 4.
