Wat
Phra Bo Rom Ma That Chai Nat,
an old temple dating back to the early Ayutthaya era,
houses a pagoda with U-Thong era features. The pageda
is home to Buddha relics. Visitors can reach this temple
via Highway 3188
Wat Karuna, situates close
to the Chao Phraya Dam, on Hith way 1, enshrines one of
the province's most-respected Buddha images-Phra Buddha
Maha Sila or Luang Pho Hin Yai which is also the province's
largest sandstone image.
Wat Phra Kaeo, is a highly-respected
temple housing a square pagoda,considered the queen of
all pagodas in Southeast Asia. It is a mixture of Sukhothai
and Srivijaya architectures.Take Highway 340.
Muang U-Tapao, a 1,000-year
town dating back to the Dhavaravadee era and a historically
precious town in the Chao Phraya basin. Take
Highway 1 and turn left at the 188-km. Marker.

February. A flock of over 10,000 teals adds to the dam's
beauty.
Chai nat Bird Park, on Phahonyothin
Road, is a major attraction of Chai Nat. the tall nests,
enabling this place to be a man-made natural habitat.
In February, the area in front of the city hall is inhabited
by many straw birds.
