Wat
Yai Chaimongkhon constructed
in King U-Thong's era, housing a pagoda built by
King Naresuan the Great to commemorate his victory
over a Burmese king. Take Highway 3059.
Wat Phananchoeng Worawihan
dating back to the pre-Ayutthaya era, locating a
Buddha image in a devil8conquering posture. The
temple is situated next to Wat Yai Chaimongkhon.
Three Royal Palaces
on Highway 39. Besides, there are several palaces
outside downtown including the Bang Pa-In Royal
Palace in Bang Pa-In district. To the district,
take Highway 347.
Wat Phra Si Sanphet
the most important and interesting temple in the
province, locating in the main Royal Palace. (Likewise,
the Emerald Buddha Temple is located in the Royal
Palace in Bangkok.)
Wat Chaiwatthanaram
on the bank of the chao Phraya River on Highway
3413, honoured as an ancient historical place. It
houses a large stupa and pagodas along the remaining
walls. At dust, the temple features an exotic scenery.
Bang Sai Royal Arts &
Crafts Centre on Highway 347, showing a variety
of handicrafts such as dolls, carves, hand-woven
items and artificial flowers. All finished products
are available at every Chit Lada shops.

Tan En an attraction surrounded
by the tranquil atmosphere, also a house to many
big bats as well as numerous water birds including
teals and herons. On the back of this temple locates
an irrigation channel, a house to various fish.
